Directamente lo sac\u00f3 de 20th Century Fox TV, es decir, de la gran empresa Disney.<\/p>\n<p>Ante tama\u00f1a oferta, el creador de series como \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d, \u201cGlee\u201d o \u201cAmerican Crime Story\u201d no tuvo mucho que pensar. Precisamente, se considera a este productor como el responsable del resurgimiento de g\u00e9neros como el musical y el terror. <\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan publican varios medios estadounidenses, entre ellos la revista \u201cVariety\u201d, por esa cifra Murphy queda atado a Netflix durante cinco a\u00f1os, y deja, de este modo, 20th Century Fox TV, estudio con el que ha trabajado durante m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada creando series para la cadena Fox y su hermana del cable FX.<\/p>\n<p>Los analistas coinciden en que la decisi\u00f3n se adopta con el per\u00edodo de transici\u00f3n que su antiguo hogar est\u00e1 experimentando tras la venta de 20th Century Fox y FX Networks a Disney.<\/p>\n<p><b>Garant\u00edas<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La mudanza de Murphy supone un golpe para la compa\u00f1\u00eda de Mickey Mouse, que hab\u00eda demostrado inter\u00e9s en el exitoso <i>showrunner<\/i>. Disney, de hecho, esperaba retener al prol\u00edfico creador entre sus filas, aunque no consigui\u00f3 hacerle sombra a la oferta realizada por la compa\u00f1\u00eda de contenidos v\u00eda <i>streaming<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Tampoco se puede decir que sea una sorpresa. En los dos \u00faltimos meses, esto es, desde que se anunci\u00f3 la mencionada operaci\u00f3n de compra, Murphy ha evitado hablar de su futuro profesional. Si bien la balanza favorec\u00eda a Netflix, donde ya desarrolla dos series: \u201cRatched\u201d, una precuela de la pel\u00edcula \u201cAlguien vol\u00f3 sobre el nido del cuco\u201d anunciada el pasado mes de septiembre; y \u201cThe Politician\u201d, una comedia musical confirmada recientemente. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cVariety\u201d indica que Netflix le garantiz\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n a Murphy el financiamiento de los costos generales para su productora, y la posibilidad de seguir percibiendo dinero por los programas que tiene al aire en FOX o FX.<\/p>\n<p><b>Influencia<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas series de Ryan Murphy han influido el esp\u00edritu de la cultura global, han reinventado g\u00e9neros y han cambiado el curso de la historia de la televisi\u00f3n. Su inquebrantable dedicaci\u00f3n a la excelencia y a dar voz a los sectores poco representados, a exponer una perspectiva \u00fanica o s\u00f3lo a sorprendernos impregna su rompedor trabajo\u201d, dijo el jefe de contenidos de Netflix, <b>Ted Sarandos<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>En un comunicado que difundi\u00f3 The New York Times, Murphy expres\u00f3: \u201csoy un ni\u00f1o homosexual de Indiana que se mud\u00f3 a Hollywood en 1989 con 55 d\u00f3lares ahorrados en el bolsillo, as\u00ed que el hecho de que mis sue\u00f1os se hayan hecho realidad de esta manera es emocionante y abrumador para m\u00ed\u201d. El productor asegur\u00f3 que seguir\u00e1 apostando por las mujeres, las minor\u00edas y los h\u00e9roes y hero\u00ednas de la comunidad Lgtbq.<\/p>\n<p><b>Jugada peligrosa<\/b><\/p>\n<p>No todas son luces en Netflix. Hace un par de semanas, anunci\u00f3 la disponibilidad de \u201cThe Cloverfield Paradox\u201d casi inmediatamente despu\u00e9s que termin\u00f3 el SuperBowl.<\/p>\n<p>La jugada no tuvo gran \u00e9xito, porque la serie pas\u00f3 la barrera de los cinco millones de espectadores en Estados Unidos. Esta cifra, aunque no es del todo mala, s\u00ed que se queda bastante lejos de los 11 millones que logr\u00f3 \u201cBright\u201d en los primeros tres d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de su estreno.
